Pain Of Salvation – festival shows, “Road Salt Two” and new video

The progressive band Pain Of Salvation reveals more details about their plans in the new year.  After 2010 turned out to be a quite turbulent year for Pain Of Salvation, with numerous chart entries, Russian train bombs and the appearance at the huge Swedish “Melodifestivalen“, it looks like they won’t slow down in 2011 either. Though this year has just started, they have

already played shows  in Cyprus, Greek and Turkey. Concerning Europe, only Hellfest in France is confirmed in June. Daniel Gildenlöw and other members of the band were also  part of a jury in two talent shows during their stay in India, also the band played Sri Lanka: an international start of the year.

They won’t be alone on their trip halfway around the world! Their constant companions: Johan and Leif Simonsson and a camera. The filmteam has been with Daniel for a few years now to collect material for their documentary with the working title “If Has to Bleed a Little”.

Moreover Pain Of Salvation are also working on a successor to their 2010 release “Road Salt One” – quite plausibly titled “Road Salt Two” – which will be released later in 2011. In the meantime, the band will also soon be launching the long-awaited and controversially discussed video for the song “Where It Hurts” in a few weeks.
