Paul Simon – new song ‘The Afterlife’ streaming

The Afterlife”  is the next chapter from Paul Simon‘s forthcoming new album So Beautiful or So What. Produced by Phil Ramone and Paul Simon. Release date is 12th  of April at Hear music/Concord Music Group. The song is online for streaming.

The famous song ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water‘ has its 40 anniversary in March. A combination from a live album from 1969 and a DVD will be released on Sony Music. Simon & Garfunkel have spent more than eight-hundred hours in two years to create this special album. It won five grammy awards, and a real mile stone for the career of both musicians.

The re-release has some extra bonus-tracks besides the well known original tracklist. Two new songs and on the DVD a tv -special “Songs Of America” also from 1969. And a documentary “The Harmony Game: The Making Of Bridge Over Troubled Water” with new interviews of Garfunkel and Simon.  ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water: 40th Anniversary‘ release date on 25th March 2011 as CD/DVD and  2CD/DVD on Sony Music.
