Metal Female Voices Fest X – jubilee opens with Eve’s Apple

On Friday 19th October the jubilee of the tenth Metal Female Voices Fest opens fanciful. For the first time, a worldwide premiere, fifteen female singers are united on the stage in Wieze.

Some of the vocalists will perform this weekend, but others are traveling over for the Eve’s Apple show from an hour. Since 2010 Eve’s Apple is an international platform for female singers, to support each other in the music business and give advise.

The ladies are writing articles, video blogs, raise money for charity and reflect the goal of MFVF since their beginning: promote female metal bands. More on: http://www.facebook.com/evesapple

Philty the man behind the whole festival, can be proud with such a big spectacle on his stage. Also the ‘Eve Award’ was handed over for the first time. Singer Angela Gossow from Arch Enemy get’s the award “for standing up against just looks and the sterotyping of female musicians/artists in the metal scene.

Songs from Evanescene and Nightwish were performed in trio’s and duets.  For the Dutch fans, Marcela Bovio from Stream Of Passion performed ‘Open Your Eyes‘ together with Maxi Nil from Visions Of Atlantis, accompanied by Angel Wolf on the piano.  Many other surprises on a very special evening!

    Nice wriiten…please check again your list though…
    Kerstin and Gaby didn’t perform.It was Lisa Middelhauve (ex Xandria) Elina Laivera (Seduce the Heaven) and a few more.I was there it was awesome!

    There were also performing: Sabrina Valentine (seven Kingdoms) and Paula Vilches (Denun), from USA and Chile.
