James Blunt – new album ‘Moon Landing’ coming out in October

ImageBritish popstar James Blunt will release his fourth album ‘Moon Landing’ in October 2013 by Atlantic Records and Warner Music.

Recently the musician released a trailer of his new album. It includes parts of the song ‘Blue On Blue.’ Watch it on his official Youtube channel.

For a year the musician is on an official break to work on his fourth album. After touring the world twice in 2011, promoting his ‘Some Kind Of Trouble‘ album.

James Blunt says about his new album: “This is a much more personal album, and also quite back to basics.”  

He worked with producer Tom Rothrock, who worked on his huge international hit ‘Back To Bedlam‘ in 2004. The titletrack ‘Moon Landing’ will be the first single. Also new tour dates are already scheduled, for example BBC radio 2 ‘Live In Hydepark‘ in London on 8th September 2013: http://www.bbc.co.uk/events/ed6q2m

James Blunt just finished his album in Los Angeles: “It’s a really beautiful sounding record, full of loneliness and longing. There’s been a lot of love put into making it and I couldn’t be happier with how it sounds… I really hope you like it too.”

Friday 18th October: Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Benelux, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Finland.
Monday 21st October: France, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Greece, Middle East, Africa.
Tuesday 22nd October: Canada, Italy, Spain, Latin America, South East Asia.
Wednesday 23rd October: Japan.
Tuesday 30th October: US.
